The EasySpeak Clinic is located in St. James, Barbados, overlooking the beautiful west coast of the island. The clinic is run by Speech & Language Therapist Shareka Bentham, who has been practising in Barbados since January 2010.

Shareka received her Masters degree in Speech & Language Therapy from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where she gained experience working with children and adults with various communication and swallowing disorders, across a range of settings. Her primary interests are children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and acquired neurogenic communication disorders (e.g. rehabilitation in stroke, traumatic brain injury etc.).

Shareka has received training in the Hanen "It Takes Two to Talk" Program, SOS Approach to Feeding, and is Level 1 PROMPT trained. She also continues to pursue her professional development through various webinars and workshops in areas such as Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Aural Rehabilitation for children with Cochlear implants, Dysphagia Management in adults, and strategies for children with Autism.
