Recently we have been working on answering 'wh questions' in the clinic with many of the little ones. The focus has been primarily on basic 'when' questions. I generally teach 'when' questions along a hierarchy, starting with time of day (morning vs night), as this is more concrete and can be represented visually. Mirror activities tend to keep children's attention for longer periods of time and are way more fun than traditional tabletop tasks. Add bouncing on the therapy ball as a reward for responding to each question and you've got a new favourite activity!
